PKU 2 MIX MILUPA SPECIAL 400G

MILUPA PKU 2-MIX is a blend of pure L-amino acids free of phenylalanine, with carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins and minerals.
It is indicated as a protein substitute in the nutritional management of children aged 1 to 8 with phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalaninemia.

Dosage and use

The daily dose of MILUPA PKU 2-MIX required to meet the daily protein requirement is subject to age, body weight, and individual tolerance level to phenylalanine. This dose, therefore, must be periodically adjusted by the doctor.
The daily amount of MILUPA PKU 2-MIX should be administered in 3-5 single servings in addition to calculated doses of other foods.
To cover the daily protein requirement MILUPA PKU 2-MIX can be used alone or in combination with MILUPA PKU 2-PRIMA and/or MILUPA PKU 2.
MILUPA PKU 2-MIX- based diets must meet the daily requirement of energy, essential fatty acids and phenylalanine.

Dilution

15g of powder (2 scoops) + 90ml of water = 100ml of phenylalanine-free amino acid blend
1 scoop = 7.5g of powder

storage

Keep in a cold and dry place. Once the package has been opened, use the product within 1 month.
